I was the athletic trainer for the California Sunshine in 1980(top left hand row with the beard) and it was an adventure, a plane ride to Allenton from Atlanta was what i thought the end…we were like a ping pong ball in a windstorm..even one waitress yelled ” I dont wanna die im pregnant”!! and at the height of the turbulence…DJ Harding yells ” Hey when are you gonna serve dinner?? Im starving”!!!
One many zany memories that summer with that bunch…as Derek Lawther would say…Brilliant!!
