Fun While It Lasted was proud to contribute to the recent release of ESPN’s 37 Words docuseries honoring the 50th anniversary of the landmark federal Title IX legislation. FWIL provided archival materials and research consultation in support of the 3rd episode in the four-part series, spotlighting the trailblazing athletes of the Women’s Basketball League (1978-1981).
37 Words is the first of three sports documentary projects scheduled for release in 2022 and 2023 that FWIL has supported in a research/consulting capacity, including a forthcoming Hulu docuseries set for release in August 2022 and a World Team Tennis project now in production.
