Wisconsin Rapids Twins
The Wisconsin Rapids Twins were a long-time farm club of the Minnesota Twins, enjoying a 20-year run in the Class A Midwest League between 1964 and 1983. The W-R Twins helped to develop future Stars for Minnesota’s 1987 World Series championship team, including sluggers Gary Gaetti and Kent Hrbek, who were teammates at W-R in the summer of 1980. The franchise moved south the Kenosha, Wisconsin in December 1983.
