The Rapid Raiders were the strongest of several semi-pro football outfits that set up shop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa during the 1970’s. The Raiders racked up an 18-4-1 record over two seasons of play, but struggled to find a stable league to play in or quality opponents for much of its brief existence.
