My father, Robert Jensen, pitched for this team in 1946. He established a league strikeout record, K’ing 296 batters during the season. He also pitched for the San Francisco Seals in the Pacific Coast League, managed by Lefty O’Doul. He said it was the most enjoyable time of his career.

    I am so intrigued to learn more about this team. A Yankee Affiliate for 2 years in the postwar era? There also must be some synergy with the naming of the park itself?

I saw my first baseball game as a youngster watching this team at RAP with my Dad. I am now one of the owners of the Victoria HarbourCats wood-bat college summer baseball team. I am writing the history of our team but am including a chapter on prior baseball teams and would love to know more about this one that began my baseball journey.
