It never a good sign when a team has two locations as a general rule. The only exception I can think of is when the Green Bay Packers played in GB and Milwaukee and even they quit that in 1993.
Sharks did surprising well in the first year on the ice and at the gate. They added Marc Tardif in next year but the rest of league improved more and they finished last.
