Oklahoma City Twisters
The Oklahoma City Twisters were a one-year entry in the Minor League Football System (MLFS), an ambitious if rather ramshackle attempt to form a nationwide feeder league for the NFL. The Twisters featured NFL veterans Rusty Hilger at quarterback and Ben Rudolph on the defensive line. The club was strong on the field (7-2) but collapsed along with the rest of the MLFS at the conclusion of the 1990 season.
