St. Lucie Legends
The St. Lucie Legends were one of eight original franchises in the Senior Professional Baseball Association in 1989. The SPBA was a Florida-based winter league for players 35 years of age or older (32 for catchers). The league drew the attention of many retired Major League stars of the 1970’s and 1980’s. The Legends roster included Vida Blue, Bobby Bonds, George Foster and Graig Nettles. Read more…
