1949 Pueblo Dodgers baseball program from the Western League

Pueblo Dodgers

The Pueblo Dodgers were a Colorado-based farm club of the Brooklyn Dodgers for eleven seasons between 1947 and 1957. Pueblo helped developed future Major League stars such as Roy Face, Jim Gentile, John Roseboro and Maury Wills during the Dodgers era. Pueblo’s Western League club changed its name to the Pueblo Bruins in 1958 when the Chicago Cubs replaced Brooklyn as the team’s Major League parent organization.
